DAY 1 SUN Arrive Prague
Arrive in Prague, a capital of Czech Republic. You will be met and transferred to Adria Hotel **** or similar, Check-in for a 2 nights' stay. In the evening meet your Tour Director and your fellow travelers for a Welcome Dinner (D)
DAY 2 MON In Prague
Prague is a delightful city of magnificent architecture and art. In the morning, get a closer look at its outstanding silhouette.
Your City tour starts with a panoramic drive to see the Wenceslas Square, Strahov Stadium and Castle Square. The walking portion of your sightseeing takes in the Royal Castle of Hradcany with the Cathedral of St. Vitus, the Old Royal Palace, St. George's Basilica and the Golden Lane with the Daliborka Tower. Explore city's historical core: cross the iconic Charles Bridge, unquestionably city's major landmark. Walk through the Old Town, one of the most beautiful in Europe, marvel numerous historical buildings including its famous Astronomical Clock, the imposing St. Nicholas Church and the Jewish Quarter. Balance of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure (B)
DAY 3 TUE Prague - Vienna
Today travel by motorcoach to Vienna, the glorious city of Waltz. Upon arrival, check-in at the Fleming's Selection Hotel **** or similar. The hotel is just behind Vienna's Town Hall and only a 5-minute walk from the prestigeous Ringstraße Boulevard. Have some free time to walk around, perhaps do some shopping or visit one of Vienese Coffee houses. Dinner and overnight at your hotel (B,D)
DAY 4 WED In Vienna
During your sightseeing today visit the two most remarkable Vienna landmarks: the iconic St. Stephen's Cathedral, the mother church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Vienna, and the seat of the Archbishop of Vienna; as well as the Hofburg Palace, once the seat of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. You will also view Belvedere Palace, Prater amusement park, the UN buildings and other vivid reminders of the city's imperial history. The afternoon is free for independent activities. Optional: in the evening attend a classical concert featuring the music of Strauss and Mozart (B)
DAY 5 THU Vienna - Budapest
Today travel by a private motor coach to Budapest (approx. 3 hours). Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel for a 2 nights' stay.
Located in downtown Budapest, close to the local architectural treasures like St. Stephen's Basilica, the Parliament or the Hungarian State Opera.
Upon arrival, you will be offered the sightseeing tour with panoramic views of the city's main attractions including The Parliament, the Royal Palace, the Castle Hill area, Heroe's Square, and Gellert Hill with its Citadel.
The balance of the day is at leisure. During your free time you might choose to do some shopping along the Vaci Utca, nibble a delicious slice of apple strudel or take a sip of excellent Hungarian wine (B)
DAY 6 FRI in Budapest
Start off your day with a panoramic sightseeing of Budapest. Situated on the opposite banks of the Danube River, the former towns of Buda and Pest are linked by a series of graceful bridges.
Your sightseeing also includes the 13th century Matthias Church, Fisherman's Bastion and the Gellert Hill, Heroes' Square with the Millennium Memorial, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and Vaci Utca, a popular pedestrian street studded with nice shops and restaurants. Afternoon is free for independent activities (B)
DAY 7 SAT Depart Budapest
After breakfast the tour ends. Transfer to airport is included (B)
