Day-By-Day Program:
DAY 1 SAT | Welcome to Russia's capital
Arrive in Moscow. You will be met and transferred to the Novotel Moscow Centre Hotel ****.
DAY 2 SUN | Moscow, Sightseeing
Breakfast at hotel. Meet your local English-speaking guide at hotel lobby for a trip outside of Moscow to the luxurious Country Estate at Gorki to visit the elite estate of the 19th - early 20th cc with its unique identity. Lunch. Return to Moscow to start your panoramic City tour featuring city' key landmarks (B,L)
DAY 3 MON | Moscow, Sightseeing
Tour of the Kremlin Grounds and a visit inside the spectacular Armoury Museum. A guided walking tour along the Old Arbat, the main pedestrian stretch in downtown Moscow. A Metro ride, with a tour of Moscow subway stations. In the evening, an overnight train, 1st class sleeping compartment for two, share basis, to Veliky Novgorod, dep 9.50 pm arrive 6.30 am next morning (B)
DAY 4 TUE | In Novgorod Veliky
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the Volkhov Hotel. After breakfast, a full day of sightseeing.
Established in 859 by a Viking Prince, Novgorod was a thriving trading community and a model city that set the proud traditions of self-government when princes were hired and fired by an assembly of citizens. You will visit the magnificent Kremlin, the Byzantine Cathedral of St. Sophia, the oldest church in Russia.
Explore the functioning Yuriev Monastery and visit a Museum of Wooden architecture. After touring, you will be transferred by car / van to St. Petersburg. Upon arrival, check-in at your downtown Radisson Sonya Hotel **** for a 4 nights stay (B,L)
DAY 5 WED | St. Petersburg, Must-See for Everyone
Start off your love affair with Petersburg with a panoramic City Tour. You will be introduced to the beautiful views of the elegant St. Petersburg. Also included is a visit inside the historical Peter-&-Paul Fortress where Russia’s all Emperors lie buried
DAY 6 THU | St. Petersburg, Treasure trove of Art & Culture
8.30 am: Today you will be touring the incomparable Hermitage Museum. One of the most spectacular museums in the world, the Hermitage has a vast collection occupying a grand ensemble of buildings
DAY 7 FRI | Playground of the Czars
Today travel outside of St. Petersburg to Pushkin to visit Catherine’s Palace with its famous Amber Room (B)
DAY 8 SAT | St. Petersburg, See You Again
