 Vilnius-Riga-Tallinn, 7 Days 

Day-By-Day Program: 

Day 1 – Thursday: Arrive in Vilnius
You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel in Vilnius. the historical Capital of Lithuania. 
Once the largest medieval state in Europe, it is now a small country with rich history. The many palaces, manor houses, monuments and churches remind you of the once powerful state.
A short break to relax before joining your Tour Director and fellow travelers for a Welcome Dinner (D)

Day 2 – Friday: To Vilnius
Vilnius is located on the confluence of the Neris and Velnele Rivers. Tour the Old Vilnius, visit baroque St. Peter’s and St. Paul’s Church, and the striking St. Anne’s Church. View Vilnius University dating back to 1570, the famous Gediminas Tower, and Vilnius Castle. The afternoon is free to continue exploring independently, or you may want to join an optional trip to Trakai, the medieval capital of Lithuania, 30 km outside of Vilnius, to visit an impressive 14th cent. Gothic Castle of Trakai, perched atop an island in the lake Galve (B) 

Day 3 – Saturday: Explore Riga

Morning departure by coach to the sophisticated capital city of Latvia, Riga. Travel through the rolling hills of Southern Latvia to reach Riga in the afternoon. Founded over 800 years ago, Riga is the largest and the most cosmopolitan of the three Baltic capitals. It is the unrivaled centre of the country’s life.

Riga is also an architectural treasure - it has one of the largest collections of Art Nouveau buildings in the whole of Europe 

Day 4 – Sunday: Riga sightseeing 

Begin the day with a sightseeing tour of Riga. Your walking tour of the Old Town - a wealth of historic buildings - includes Riga Castle on the banks of the Daugava river, the Dome Cathedral, St. Peter’s Church, the Swedish Gate, the Three Brothers, the Large and Small Guilds and the Freedom Monument. 
The balance of the day is yours to further explore the architectural beauty of the city, indulge in some shopping, or perhaps savor the delightful taste of Latvian crepes (B)

Day 5 – Monday: Traveling to Tallinn
Today we travel to the charming Tallinn, Estonia. The capital city is situated on the southern coast of the Gulf of Finland (B, D)

Day 6 – Tuesday: Explore Tallinn
Embark on a captivating walking tour of Tallinn’s Upper and Lower Old Town. Visit the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, a stunning example of Russian Orthodox architecture. Explore the historic Toompea Castle, dating back to the 14th century, and marvel at the gothic Town Hall. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure, whether you choose to further explore the city before an overnight stay in Tallinn (B)

Day 7 – Wednesday: Depart Tallinn        See You Again! 

After breakfast your tour ends. Check out from hotel and get transferred to Tallinn airport (B)

Note: Because of the narrow and cobbled streets, walking is the primary way of getting around. Please make sure to pack comfortable walking shoes
